Joëlle Rigal
Joëlle Rigal is a designer who graduated from ENSCI-Les Ateliers in 2013. She has worked as an in-house furnishings designer for the interior design establishment Biobject. She nurtures a passion for artisanal manufacturing processes. Their human and environmental challenges, as well as the notion of repetitive gestures, fuel her reflections and creativity.
Moreover, as a photographer, she is particularly sensitive to the effects of light on surfaces and volumes. She feels that objects interact with their environment in several ways and at different stages of their conception, through their visual, technical, material, logistical and human features. To this end, she seeks to understand and embrace these interactions in the fullest sense, from a formal viewpoint and through the product life cycle. Her key contemplation when creating is the duality between the material world and the living realm in every form.
