Grégoire de Lafforest

If he comes from a background that favors interior architecture (ESAG Penninghen), Grégoire de Lafforest has always aimed at furniture design, honing his experience through collaborations with various agencies. Working alongside Bruno Moinard, he rubs shoulders with luxury and materials such as marble, tortoiseshell, and parchment. With Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, he delves into an ultra-contemporary universe, working with lacquer and corian. Then, at Gilles et Boissier, he plays a transversal role in projects, steadily leaving his mark alongside his personal projects for publishers and manufacturers such as Collection Particulière, Obumex, or the Gosserez gallery.

He is currently collaborating with Hermès on furniture collection designs. Minimal, soft, and fluid, his creations reflect his aspirations and inspirations, favoring simplicity. A design that goes straight to the core, using natural, sober, and warm materials. Grégoire de Lafforest's creations exude the charm of the timeless.

His work has earned him the VIA award for four consecutive years since 2011 and the "Talent of Elegance" award at the Luxury and Creation Summit in 2017.
